Tunnel Heading and Loading Machines
The TEREX - ITC-Type tunnel heading and loading machines are available in four different sizes with a working weight from 18 to 45 Tonnes. The modular design of the different basic units enables the machines to be perfectly modified for use in the specific tunnel cross-section and geological conditions.

For each Type of machine, a choice of boom tools are available for working in conventional, drill and blast and rock breaking tunnelling situations. In addition to standard excavation tools such as buckets, other mounting options include patented hammer/bucket combinations, mucking tools, hydraulic transverse cutting units, rock breakers, drill rigs, and more.
Fitted with a powerful diesel engine and/or electric motor, the machines are highly mobile: The machines are driven around the tunnels by the diesel engine, and then on the working area, can then be switched to the electric motor given off a zero-emission. The excavated material is rapidly shifted to the rear by means of a conveyor system integrated into the machine.
