Tunnel Excavators
The powerful Terex TE210 tunnel excavator is designed in particular for working in the confinements of conventional tunnel drives. Because of the machines compact upper- carriage, large swing radius, short tail and excellent reliability, the TE210 is an ideal unit for the use in small to medium size tunnels.
Efficient and precise – The work equipment in combination with the swing bucket dipper stick guarantee a high breakout force, yielding maximum production and accurate tunnel profiles.
Special Kinematics allows the machine to work in low-profile tunnels with a minimum height of 4.8 metres. Operating heights of up to 8.5 m are also easily mastered by the TE210.
Conversion options – The versatility and power of the TE210 means that the machine can be mounted with special booms and work equipment (i.e. drill rigs, cutting units etc) to give customers more options available for there many different tasks ahead.
Power pack -The powerhouse of the machine is a powerful 165 kW turbo-diesel engine mounted with an exhaust gas soot particle filter system which meets with the latest international exhaust gas regulations.
Hydraulic system - TEREX trusts the reliable, economic and service-friendly load-sensing hydraulics system which has significantly proven itself in our tunnel heading machines.
Electrical system - Simple low maintenance technology with the deliberate minimum use of electronics makes certain that the TE210 is one of the most reliable tunnelling machines on the market.
Low emissions – At the customer's request, the TE210 can be equipped with a zero-emission electric motor. Power is supplied by a cable drum either mounted directly on the upper-carriage or alternatively on the undercarriage. If the cable drum is mounted on the undercarriage then the 360-degree swing range of the excavator is maintained.
